Draft for legal review

Current local-site handling

This local development website records contact messages and membership applications in its local SQLite database so authorised administrators can review them. Membership applications may include professional contact details, affiliation, work background, coverage areas, public portfolio links, participation interests and applicant declarations. It does not send automated emails until SMTP is configured.

Data minimisation

The membership form does not request identity documents, confidential sources, legal case files or safety-sensitive information. Applicants should not submit such material through this website. Public member profiles require a separate review and are not created automatically from applications.

Before launch

CMF must approve a complete privacy notice covering purpose, legal basis, retention, access, correction, deletion, processors, cross-border transfers and grievance contact.
